European PHD School
The European PhD School on ‘Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Energy Control and Power Systems’ has been organized by the University of Cassino in collaboration with ECPE European Centre for Power Electronics since 2011.
This is a unique event in Europe for young power electronics engineers from academia to exchange experiences and technical information about their PhD projects. The PhD School begins with an Industry Day that includes keynote presentations by industry experts and a dialogue session for face-to-face discussions between doctoral students and industry representatives. The first day ends with a social dinner that includes the celebration of the PhD School Award. The rest of the week is devoted to high-level lectures by numerous experts from academia as well as industry related to the following topic areas:
- Power Electronics
- Electric Machines
- Energy control
- Power Systems
Since the 2015 edition, more than 100 PhD students from all over Europe participate in the PhD School every year!
